Welcoming Southlake Health to Research Canada
We’re excited to welcome Southlake Health to Research Canada!
For more than 100 years, Southlake has served communities across northern York Region and southern Simcoe County. Today, its 6,000 medical professionals, staff, volunteers, and students deliver care close to home while helping shape what comes next.
Southlake’s research spans biomedical and patient-oriented research, health policy and systems, and population health. As it develops a new vision for research and builds a Distributed Health Network, connections across Canada’s research community will help bring new ideas into care.
“Research and innovation are essential to building a stronger, more connected health system,” said Alison Evans, President and CEO of Research Canada. “We look forward to connecting Southlake with our national network.”
“Research and innovation are an important part of how we will transform health care at Southlake and across the communities we serve,” said Charissa Cordon, Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive at Southlake Health.
We’re proud to bring Southlake’s patient-first perspective into our network. Welcome, Southlake Health!
